The new building of the Persian Language Training Center was inaugurated on September 8 in the presence of the Tarbiat Modares University chancellor, the Executive Vice-President of Science Ministry for the Development of Persian Language and Iranology in abroad universities and scientific centers.

The second French-language student conference, which was scheduled for March in person, was held online on September 1, sponsored by the University's French language student scientific association.

With the help of the archeological excavation team led by Dr. Hamed Vahdati Nasab, a TMU faculty member, more than 6,000 cultural finds and Neanderthal human remains were discovered in the "Qale-Kurd" cave in Avaj.

Five publications from Humanity faculty of TMU succeeded in obtaining the Q1 rank of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC).

For the first time in the faculty of Humanity, thesis defense was held virtually.

Virtual Persian Language Teaching in Beginning Level

The Academic Board of the Federal University of Crimea at a meeting with faculty members of the Russian and Persian language departments (November 10), while exploring the potential of bilateral cooperation, expressed thier willingness to conclude a Memorandum of Understanding, especially in the areas of Persian and Russian.

The ISPRS international Geospatial Conference 2019 is organized by School of Surveying and GeoSpatial Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Tehran, and will be held from 12-14 October 2019 at the Campus of Agriculture and Natural Resources of University of Tehran, Iran.

The Alumni of the Faculty of Humanities will be gathered on the 23rd of January this year. Dr. Gholam Hossein Zadeh, the dean of the faculty, announced that the graduates of the Faculty of Humanities will hold a meeting this month and added: "In order to organize the Alumni Association of the University, the graduates of the Faculty of Humanities will gather on Wednesday 23rd of January.”

TMU’s Management Studies Center held an event for students’ empowerment called "the Voice of Knowledge ".

The 5th Students Philosophy Conference is held on November, 21st, 2018 by TMU's Students' Scientific Association of Philosophy.

Publish a new book by a huumanity faculty Professor Tarbiat Modares University

An Iftar Feast attended by Persian Language and Literature faculty members, foreign and Iranian students and alumni was held on July, 14th , at the newly-built buffet site of TMU. Different departments of the Faculty of Humanity hold Iftar feast during the holy month of Ramadan.
