The Archaeology degree program, with its prehistory, historical, and Islamic concentrations, provides students with a unique opportunity to study and discover ancient artifacts and cultures from three different periods of human history. In the prehistory concentration, students are introduced to the analysis of archaeological data from the prehistoric period and the process of human evolution. In the historical concentration, students are introduced to ancient civilizations and the social and cultural developments of past societies. Also, in the Islamic concentration, students are introduced to cultural and artistic artifacts related to the Islamic period and its effects on various societies. By providing theoretical and practical topics, this degree program teaches students the necessary tools to analyze and interpret ancient artifacts from these three important periods of human history.
