Introduction
The political science major at Tarbiat Modars University, while introducing students to specialized literature in peripheral sciences (such as sociology and economics) and fundamental studies (political philosophy and jurisprudence), strives to teach the logic of political and intellectual developments in the country's issues within the boundaries of this field's knowledge and based on the requirements of Islamic Iran, and to design research appropriate to it. This analysis and study helps graduates of this major at Tarbiat Modars University to participate more constructively and responsibly in policy-making and good governance processes in the country and to guarantee the country's national interests.

Political Sciences - Iran Issues (PHD)
Introduction
Iran, as a country with a strategic position in the contemporary world, is always exposed to a multitude of threats and opportunities at the subnational, national and transnational levels. Special attention is paid to identifying and analyzing the country's issues and trying to confront threats and use opportunities in conditions of limited time, financial and human resources, and precise prioritization of the country's issues. Creating a multidimensional and indigenous perspective on the Iranian issue is one of the goals of this course at Tarbiat Modares University, and graduates of this course at Tarbiat Modares University will, in proportion to the focus on one of the country's major issues, evaluate the aforementioned issues, identify and compile dissertations and applied research focusing on policymaking around Iranian issues.

Political Sciences - Political Thoughts (PHD)
Introduction
Political thought can be considered an interdisciplinary knowledge that, with its normative implications, provides criteria and criteria for desirable social relations and, while expressing ideals and values, also provides recommendations and prescriptions for realizing a "good" life and a desirable state of governance. This course is one of the main courses in the Political Science department of Tarbiat Modars University, which is offered at the doctoral level in order to familiarize students with political thoughts and ideas in both Western and Islamic traditions. The Political Science Department of Tarbiat Modars University, within the framework of this course, aims to focus on various types of political thought such as political philosophy, political theology, and political ideology, and examines and analyzes classical and modern political discourses and ideas of the West, political thoughts in the ancient East, political thoughts and philosophy in the Islamic world, and the course of political thought in Iran, and criticizes and evaluates the opinions of scholars in this field from various angles in students' research and theses.
